About The Law Office of Holly De Rosa Hogue
Holly graduated from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Holly earned her law degree from Mercer University School of Law.
While in law school, Holly worked as a law clerk for Hogue & Hogue, LLP, an exclusively criminal defense firm in Macon, where she developed a passion for defending the accused. After graduating from Mercer Law School, Holly accepted a position with the Houston County Public Defender's Office, where she had a high-volume felony trial and appellate caseload. At the PD's Office, Holly had hands-on mentoring by three experienced and respected criminal lawyers.
After two years defending the indigent, and many successes, Holly was offered a position as an associate lawyer with the boutique criminal firm she clerked for in law school. At Hogue & Hogue, Holly continued to practice criminal defense exclusively, and honed her skills in specific areas such as constitutional attacks & suppression matters. Holly worked at Hogue & Hogue for over two years and developed relationships with colleagues and acquaintances within the criminal justice system in Macon and middle Georgia.
In September 2009, Holly left the nest and formed her own criminal defense firm in Macon. Her office is located in the heart of Macon, across from Joshua Cup Coffee house and the Washington Memorial Library, and overlooks the beautiful Washington Park.
Holly resides in Bibb County with her four dogs and two cats. Holly enjoys seafood, boating, flea markets, the beach, and good music on Second Sundays in Washington Park.
Holly employs one full-time legal assistant, Mollie Carlson. Mollie is a Macon native who has now been with the law firm since February, 2010.
